Best Price QLD Road Worthy/Safety Certificates

In Queensland a roadworthy certificate is called a safety certificate.

A safety certificate is needed when a registered light vehicle is offered for sale in Queensland, or when re-registering an unregistered vehicle. It confirms that a vehicle has passed a minimum safety standard inspection.

Selling your vehicle privately?? Moving to sunny Queensland from inter-state??

You will then require a QLD safety certificate to do so legally. We are an official Approved Inspection Station (AIS) and can take care of that for you. We only charge the government recommended certification rate and perform this inspection to a high standard ensuring your safety and satisfaction.

The Safety Inspection

In general, Best Price Auto Workshop will inspect your vehicles:

  • Tyres
  • Brakes
  • Suspension
  • Body Rust or damage
  • Lights
  • Oil leaks
  • Seat belts
  • Hand brake
  • Windscreen

At the conclusion of the inspection, a written certificate will be issued to you. If the vehicle fails the inspection, you have 14 days to rectify any issues and to call us back to schedule a re-inspection. If a vehicle is not registered, there is no legal requirement for vendors to provide safety certificates.
